Mannisto In Progress will turn Garden Room into an evolving presentation space, showcasing the development of a collaborative project with textile service company Lindström Oy. In signature Mannisto style, themes from the circular economy, workwear, fashion and art will be combined, offering a behind-the-scenes view of the working process and one-of-a-kind products from the first phase of the collaboration.

Mannisto is the menswear label created by designer Julia Männistö. Born in Colombia and raised in Finland, Männistö started her label in 2015 after graduating from Central Saint Martins. Mannisto is one of Finland’s most internationally acclaimed new labels: Julia Männistö won International Fashion Showcase in 2015 and Shenzhen Design Award for Young Talents in 2016. She was a finalist in the LVMH Prize in 2016. Julia Männistö’s design trademarks include visually powerful silk screen printing and innovative surface designs. Her collections have reached vast international media coverage, in among others German iD, Vogue China, Vogue Italia, GQ Korea, Harpers Bazaar China and Highsnobiety.
